About
A factual view of the model market.
How Hastat turns the live Models.dev catalogue into a compact factual explorer.
What Hastat does
Hastat presents model, provider, capability, context, and API price fields from Models.dev(opens in a new tab) in a compact searchable interface. Equivalent model IDs are grouped while every provider offer remains available on the model detail page.
No recommendation layer
Hastat does not rank model quality, match subscriptions, estimate whether a plan fits your usage, or claim that a provider works best with a particular agent. Filters narrow source-reported facts; they are not endorsements.
Refresh and fallback
The server fetches the public catalogue with a bounded timeout and caches it for six hours. If refresh fails, Hastat serves the last known good snapshot. On a first-start failure it shows a clearly labelled bundled sample.
Limits
- Prices, limits, capabilities, and availability can change after a refresh.
- Catalogue presence does not prove uptime, security, quality, or compatibility with your workflow.
- Reported tool calling and reasoning flags do not measure how well a model performs.
- Provider documentation remains authoritative.
Independence
There is no paid placement or sponsored ordering. Default catalogue order uses only source-reported completeness, capabilities, recency, availability across providers, and stable names.
